Estimate a vinyl or SPC floor from the area and the grade you want. The calculator uses the installed per-square-foot ranges from our vinyl flooring cost guide and adds tile hacking if the old floor has to come out.
📍 We serve KL, Selangor & Putrajaya.

Measure the dry rooms only. Vinyl and SPC are not laid in bathrooms.
Not needed when the existing tiles are flat and well bonded — click-lock planks can float over them.
Vinyl and SPC flooring is priced per square foot installed, so the calculator multiplies your floor area by the range for the grade you pick. Budget PVC vinyl tile or thin plank under 4 mm is RM5–RM8 per sq ft installed. Mid-range LVT or SPC plank of 4–6 mm with a 0.3–0.5 mm wear layer is RM7–RM13. Premium thick SPC of 6–8 mm or WPC is RM12–RM18.
The biggest extra is what happens to the old floor. Click-lock SPC can usually float over flat, well-bonded tiles, which keeps the job simple. If the tiles are hollow, cracked or uneven, they come out first; our guide prices hacking the existing tiles at RM3 per sq ft including debris disposal, and the calculator adds that over the same area. Measure only the dry rooms — bedrooms, living, dining and study — because bathrooms stay tiled.
All figures come from our vinyl flooring cost guide. Check every quote for the wear layer, the plank thickness and whether levelling and skirting are included, because those lines explain most of the gap between a cheap and an expensive quote. When you have a range you are comfortable with, WhatsApp ClickBina the area and the grade for a flat price with no hidden charges — we reply within the hour. A site visit is free.
Estimate = floor area × installed range for the grade + floor area × RM3 per sq ft (only if the old tiles are hacked out). Low and high ends are worked out separately.
| Factor | How it changes your quote |
|---|---|
| Wear layer | A thicker wear layer lasts longer in living rooms; a thin one wears through quickly in busy areas. |
| Core type | SPC has a rigid stone-plastic core and copes with an imperfect floor; LVT is flexible and needs a flat slab. |
| Existing floor | Laying over sound tiles avoids hacking; hollow or cracked tiles have to come out first. |
| Levelling | High spots and dips must be levelled before click-lock joints will hold. |
| Room shape | Many small rooms and corridors take longer to cut and fit than one open area. |
| Skirting and trims | New skirting and door transitions are often quoted separately — check they are included. |
