Browse 13 ways to make one bathroom wall the feature, then see which materials suit the wet and dry zones.
📍 We serve KL, Selangor & Putrajaya.

A bathroom feature wall is one wall finished differently from the rest, usually the shower wall, the wall behind the vanity or the wall behind the toilet. Doing one wall keeps the cost and the visual noise down, and it is often the only wall that needs retiling. The key rule is which materials belong in the wet zone: tiles, mosaic, stone-look porcelain and properly sealed microcement can take the shower; wallpaper and most panels belong only in the dry zone by the vanity. These 13 concept designs show feature walls in modern, classic, tropical and heritage styles. Use the filters below to narrow them by style, by shower, vanity or toilet wall, or by home type.
Each design below is an illustrative concept render of one bathroom with one wall made the feature. They are grouped by style, by which wall is featured, and by home type. Tap any image to enlarge it. Every card links to the ClickBina guide that covers the material or the work behind that look.

Pick the wall you see first. Standing at the bathroom door, the wall facing you is usually the one worth featuring: the shower wall in a long bathroom, the vanity wall in a wide one, or the wall behind the toilet in a small powder room.
ClickBina's bathroom design gallery shows whole-bathroom styles; this gallery stays with the single feature wall.

A feature wall usually comes with other bathroom work. The bathroom retiling cost guide covers the full retile, the shower niche guide covers recessed shelves, and the bathroom vanity design gallery covers what sits in front of a vanity wall.
If you want to keep the old tiles, the guide to tiling over existing tiles explains when that works; for a guest toilet, the powder room renovation guide shows how one feature wall can carry a small room.
Tiles have published rates. ClickBina's tile design guide lists ceramic at RM10 – RM18 per sq ft, porcelain at RM18 – RM35 per sq ft and mosaic at RM20 – RM45 per sq ft supplied and laid, plus about RM2 – RM5 per sq ft labour for large-format tiles; the retiling guide adds RM3 – RM6 per sq ft to hack out old tiles, and epoxy grout is RM1 – RM3 per sq ft more (indicative Klang Valley ranges for 2026).
For other finishes, the microcement guide cites RM900 – RM1,500 for a microcement-look accent wall, the wallpaper guide lists RM5 – RM15 per sq ft installed, and the stone wall panel guide puts a cultured stone feature wall at RM2,000 – RM6,000 installed. Waterproofing work, if the wall needs it, is quoted separately.
We retile and refinish bathroom walls as part of our renovation work: we lay tiles, mosaic and slabs, install wall panels and niches, and redo the waterproofing where the wall needs it.
